Sizes and dimensions of the images you use on Facebook are very important. You should always use standard image sizes on Facebook to improve your brand presence by good organic reach.
Facebook Cover Photo Size
You should Optimize your cover photo for the right dimensions, which is 851 x 315 pixels for desktop, 640 x 360 pixels tall for mobile.
But, I recommended you to use 820 x 462 pixels
- Your cover photo displays at 820 x 312 pixels tall on desktops/laptops and 640 x 360 pixels tall on smartphones
- Your cover photo does not display on non-smartphones
- Your Facebook cover photo must be at least 399 pixels wide and 150 pixels tall
